Is there a Disneyland version of the MMNSSHP?

We will be in California right before Labor Day and I thought I saw that there was, though now it looks like it was for Florida. Does California do something similar?

Oogie Boogie Bash. It's at California Adventure. They used to do a Mickey's party at DLR but they moved everything over to California Adventure.

The decorations at DLR blow away the Magic Kingdom.

They moved it up last year. First party was on September 6. Still not nearly as early as MNSSHP (which I’m glad about).

I’m surprised we don’t have a sticky super thread about it yet… there’s a good chance tickets will be announced in the next 40-60 days and likely people will be gearing up their questions around this time.

If it’s anything like previous years the sticky will be very helpful. Usually the first few posts are reserved for announcements from Disney (when tix go on sale, dates of event, prices, etc) then a post for updates on which dates sell out when etc, then usually some review posts that will get populated shortly after the opening night.

Just be ready to lock your dates down pretty fast. They should give an official heads up when the dates are and when it goes on sale and then a week or so later they actually go on sale. Buy ALL the tickets you expect to need (an extra to bring a friend etc) first time, don’t expect to come back the next day and add another.
