Is there a cleaners near the port

I have read many threads about people that have their dress clothes pressed on the ship, i was thinking since you can board and go to your stateroom, i would have our clothes pressed before we board then drop them off in the room, has anyone ever done this?

This is true if you board after 1:30pm otherwise if you'd like to board early you will be carrying around your dry cleaning.

What time were you planning on arriving to the terminal?

i had just called dcl and they told me when you board early you can go to your room and drop your stuff off, i do not want to carry my clothes around till 130 lol

We could not get to our stateroom until after 1:30. They had the hallways closed off as soon as you get off the elevators. Getting your clothes pressed on board is really easy & is 1/2 the price of dry cleaning.

We just sailed and you CAN'T get to your stateroom until 1:30...they even have stantions set up so you can't get down the hall. There was even a printed notice that said please do not attempt to get to your stateroom until 1:30 as the CM are preparing the rooms, etc.

It would be easier to get them pressed onboard, in my opinion.

I agree with everyone else. We could not get to our stateroom before 1:30pm, give or take a few minutes. The cabins were physically blocked off.

We used the onboard drycleaning, pressing, and laundry service and were VERY happy with it. If you need pressing service only, it's quite affordable. On our first afternoon on the ship I gave our cabin steward ALL of our formal and semi-formal clothes for the entire week to take and have pressed. All of the clothes were brought back to our cabin and hung up in our closet the next afternoon.

Our hallway to our cabin has always been blocked off. It would be a real pain to lug all your drycleaning around with you.

Just use dcl drycleaning and pressing service..it is very reasonable..and so easy.
