Is there a chart or something that shows average crowds?

We're considering next summer, but aren't sure WHEN exactly.

Heat doesn't bother us (being from Utah) but crowds might.

I've never seen that chart, and for the most part, it's correct. Some small corrections though:
-From early Jan-February it drops off way more than the graph shows
-October is not the slowest month. Especially within the past few years, October's attendance has grown significantly. Gay days, Columbus weekend/Fall breaks, and Halloween are all huge draws.
-December is only crowded from about 2 days before Christmas-New Years

Thanks for the input, from someone who knows. :)
Is is possible that Sept. is more busy than mid. Oct. just after Columbus Day? We were there in Nov. twice, and thought it was great as far as crowds went. Last year, we were there in Sept., 2nd week, and were surprised how crowded everything was. I hope mid. October won't be quite as crowded as Sept. was. (Sorry EmmersIsTheMommy to HJ your thread asking about mid-Oct. compared to Sept.,, I'm just so curious!!)

Pfft, I'm the queen of hijacking.

I hope June is mostly accurate...if it's lower then, it'd be perfect for us.

We went first week in dec this last time and it was FANTASTIC

food and wine festival was a BIIIG hit the first week of June. it gets busier as it progresses.

The calanders arent as accurate anymore. The economy is kinda taking a turn on it, i all honestly, it feels more busier that summer now, but not as busy as winter or spring break... Seems more ppl rather drive down to Disney for a day than to go somewhere else...

This is coming from someone who goes to Disneyland every weekend for the past 3 years...

One thing to keep in mind...

Early-June has limited entertainment on the weekdays.

The first week of June (weekdays) probably won't have fireworks, Fantasmic, or the Electrical Parade.

The second week of June (weekdays) probably won't have Fantasmic or the Electrical Parade.

The full nightly entertainment probably won't start until Friday, June 11, 2010.

Thanks you two!

So when would you suggest we go in the summer?

Now, we DO want to see electrical parade. Our kids crashed too early this year (we missed fireworks each time, INCLUDING the night in the dream suite cuz they didn't do them that night..snap) so we really want that. Not a huge deal about much else.

I didn't know that was when food/wine was tho.

We will be visiting DLR from June 28 to July 4 -- after our trip I'll tell you about the crowds. :goodvibes

We went to DLR the first week of August '07, and I thought that the crowds were pretty manageable.

Here's an excellent thread:

depends on how long you plan to go. i think the perfect time to go is overlapping NYE with Jan. Usually Jan, it dies down pretty quickly since everyone is going back to school.
