Is there a cat coming off the Mine Train?

my DS9 is really into cats right now, so I mentioned this to him and he was on a mission to find this cat.
one evening, he and my husband saw the gray cat on the opposite side of the bridge from the cottage as we queued up in the FP line.
my husband yelled "there he is" and the cat scurried under the bridge, so i missed him, but my son and husband were delighted to no end to catch a glimpse!

Yes! Gray with crossed eyes? We saw him there on Sunday. A cast member said they call him Derpy. That's his hang out area.

Funny bc we have a gray cat (eyes not crossed) named Derby (bc he was rescued from Kentucky)

I hope they don't get too close to people...I love cats, but DH is highly allergic.

There is a huge feral cat population in Central Florida. You will see many around the resorts (Disney and others). It is the perfect climate for feral cats. Because it never gets that cold here, they breed year round.

My current cat was feral. We found him at Disney Springs. He was just a baby. He was in the bushes outside of T-Rex. At that time, there was a lot of construction going on. We were concerned he might get hurt. It took us a couple of hours, but I finally got hold of him. During the process, he bit me. I had to get a tetnus shot and he had to go into quarantine for ten days (county regulation). He has turned out to be the best cat we've ever owned.

Here's Loki when he first came home. We had him in an enclosure until he got used to us and our dog.




Here he is once he decided our dog was his pal!

We saw that same gray cat in the same spot as the pic above - near the cottage - in July! We actually stood there in the exit line a few extra seconds just to see it move because we thought perhaps it was part of the scenery - lol! I didn't see it in October though.

Feral cat populations are a tough thing - however it's the first time in all our trips I've ever seen a cat inside the park!

We actually saw a cat dart through the crowd in World Showcase last week.
