Is there a Bus from Pearson or Hamilton to Buffalo?

First off -- bus service from YHM is non-existent, AFAIK.

You could get a bus from YYZ to downtown Toronto and switch to a Greyhound bus going to Buffalo at the Elizabeth St. bus terminal -- such animals do exist.

Would it not be cheaper to drive from Winnipeg to a US border state and catch a flight from there instead of trying to juggle air and bus schedules. The system simply is not integrated to do what you're hoping to do.

I've never tried these out but here's a couple of options. You could call Niagara airbus directly 1-800-268-8111 and see how they work.

We are in the business of on-time door-to-door airport shuttles to and from the Toronto and Buffalo airports.

Red Car Service works in partnership with Niagara Airbus to provide service to and from the Buffalo Airport. Transfers to Niagara Airbus vehicles are made via Hamilton Airport. (We also provide a Super-Single rate through Pearson Airport. See our fares section for pricing)

It is an 8 hour drive to Minneapolis. The prices from Grand Forks which is 2 hours away is close to the price from Winnipeg. The drive to MSP on the way down is fine excitement and all the drive back well.......if I don't mind a one stop from MSP to MCO the price is as low as $ 220.00 CAD.

Hopefully I will have enough Airmiles to get to either TO or MSP, but with the rave reviews I read about Buffalo here I have to check it out.

I don't think the raves about Buffalo are as much about that fair city as they are about the fact that any major border city makes air travel for Cdns incredibly cheap. Plane travel on Canadian airlines (any of them) is horrendously, ridiculously expensive. Case in point - I can fly from Detroit to Montreal for 30% of the cost (70% less) than it would cost to fly from Windsor to Montreal. Ridiculous.

We fly to Orlando out of Detroit - Spirit Air for when we want to go is roughly $140 U.S. round trip. and the flight is non-stop. I often joke that we spend more time getting to the airport and waiting than we do on the actual plane. We're a stone's throw from the border, but I know people from London (two hours away) often find it just as easy to fly out of Detroit.

I think the prevalence of Buffalo-flyers is probably due to the large Toronto-area population to be found on DIS, as it would make the most sense for that area crowd.
