Wow, still waiting! We're going 4/18-4/24, we've been booked since June lol Staying at POFQ, on the dining plan. We go every year for spring break, but I didn't think this year would be as crowded since Easter's in March. I'm rethinking that now lol

Why does everyone think it will be so busy at the end of April? I have been to DW at that time like 3 times and each time it has never been an issue. Is there something different about this year?

The last time I went they had that High School footbal/cheerleading thing too and it still wasn't too bad..... But now everyone has me worried!

We are going the first week of April. It seems this will be the time the crazinest starts to subside. I am just happy we will not go during the heat of all heat in Orlando, crowds dont seem so bad when its not 100 degrees outside.:cool2:

This year a lot of schools have spring breaks in April. Looks to be a variation among states. We're in NY and have 2 weeks off in April (last 2 weeks), no time off at Easter except Good Friday. And since Disney labeled April as regular season, I think many people are going at this time so they don't have to take their kids out of school and also don't have to pay peak season rates.

I just gave up and booked three nights at WL at rack rate . We're staying offsite the rest of the time. Here's hoping I can add more nights on later with a code...

Like every other month at Disney World people have figured out more moderate crowd levels and have all flocked to Orlando during those times. Late April is one of those times when you would think it wouldn't be that crowded, but over the years it has become increasingly more crowded. I can't explain why, but it is.

I think when everyone says the end of April, they are referring up to April 25th. It seems many Northern and East Coast schools have vacations up until then. From April 26 on, I couldn't find any school with vacation time. We just booked April 26-May 3 this week, and it seems like it will be lower crowds (rooms available, ADRs available, etc).

I think you are correct with this. We are going for the 2nd year in a row the last week, as in starting on the 25th of April, through May 2nd. We had NO issues getting ADR's, wherever we wanted, and no room issues. We had the same experience last year during that time, along with very manageable crowds at the parks.

Gosh, I can't believe our next trip is less than 90 days away!!!!

We are also going April 25th-May 4th. I have had no problems making any reservations for that week. Even got into the breafast at CRT with many choices to choose from on any day I wanted. This being said I don't think that week will be that bad. Still waiting for codes though!!! Anything would be nice!!

I hope you have already made resort ressies, when I called to inquire about discounts, POR was booked, all that was available was Family Sites at ASMusic. I tried to add a day to my April 7-11 ressies and CM said everything was booked up. I was able to get a code added to my ressie, and saved $350.00.
