Is there 2 numbers for resort ressies??

Hello everyone,
I need some help. I recently purchased 2 unofficial guides that have phone numbers for resort reservations. One suggested calling Central Reservations and the other WDTC. One of my books advised that CRO had a better cancellation and deposit rule. I could only find the WDTC number, I could not find a CRO number. Is there 2 numbers or maybe this info in outdated....It is a 2007 book?? Can anyone help? Is there actually 2 different reservation departments? If anyone has any advice on making good reservations, Ill take it.

I always call the 800 number, which is, 1-800-828-0228. Hope this helps.
