Is the Yacht & Beach Club close to Swan& Dolphin?

hi

I am about to book my Wedding at WDW, and am thinking of staying at the Yacht & Beach club. My parents can't quite afford to stay there and so we thought we could get them a room at the Swan & Dolphin. The package prices are a little cheaper.

I just need to know how far apart the 2 hotels are. I dont want to be too far from them so that we can all meet up easily without having to use the transport.
Can anybody shed some light for me? That way I can get my accommodation sorted as soon as possible,

It's right next door, maybe a 10 minute walk, depending where you are in the Y&BC. Have a great trip!

It's no more then five minutes walking! Everything is within easy walking distance, having them stay there is totally do-able! Enjoy!

Thankyou for your replies, I was going to stay at the Grand Floridian originally, but I didnt want to be too far from my parents, which is why I thought of yacht & Beach club for us and the Swan & Dolphin for them. I just wasnt too sure if they were within easy walking distance of one another. Has anybody stayed at the Yacht AND the Beach, and which did they prefer?

How about staying at BWI instead of BC/YC? BWI has garden suites made for honeymooners that offer more privacy, and BWI is just on the other side of S/D, across the lake from BC/YC.

I had thought of that one also, but my partner liked the look of the Y&BC better. I think it is the beach that did it for him. It'll be worth checking that out also though, thank you.

Between BC and YC, we've only stayed at YC. YC had less children (lots of kids running around in BC lobby), was quieter and little fancier than BC. YC seems a little more adult and I can see it being for your wedding. YC has dark wood and blue and brass accents. BC has pastels like light blue and pink. But I think it depends what look you like better. We live by the beach is South FL so look of BC doesn't appeal to us as much b/c we have beach at home. YC is also closer to Swan and Dolphin than BC. We will stay at BC b/c it's one of the last 2 moderates and deluxes we have left. Congrats on your wedding! I just got married about a year and a half ago.

Maybe you/your parents can look into renting points for a studio at the Beach Club? Would be much cheaper! (Sunday through Thursday anyway).
