Is the weekend JUST before Thnksgvg super busy?

is that weekend JUST before Thanksgiving swamped at the parks? Or does the crowd really come in during the Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat during and after?

We went this past year the Sat before thru the Sat after and it was crowded Sat - Wed and jam-packed Thurs - Sat!
