Is the website correct or should I call?

We have a cabin booked for the 2nd week of December but I am interested in renting an RV instead. However, looking on the website all campsites are booked. Is this normal? Or is it possible to call and get a reservation? What has been your experience?

December is very popular so it is probably taken. You can keep checking back as somebody will cancel but it may be last minute.

Yes, it is normal for sites to be fully booked. Hence the uproar over the "throwaway sites".

Having said that, it is often possible to get reservations of different lengths for different days as things become available and link them all together, but it requires a lot of perseverance.
