Is the wait time for TT = the time you actually step into the car?

I am just curious if the estimated wait time for Test Track is when you step into the car for the actual ride or when you start building your car?

I'm not 100% sure, but from experience, I want to say it's the wait time just to get to building your car. Typically the small queue between the building of the car and the ride loading doesn't take that long.

It has been our experience start of line to seat of car.

It's been consistently over 100 minute wait this week...

Thanks, we go next week and we have FEA FP for my 7yr old but will are hitting this at RD and will debate whether to wait in line to go a 2nd time once we get out of the exit. We have FP for Soarin on another day so the hope is we can get on this twice before the lines get ridiculous.

I disagree. The queue's longest wait can between the car design and the loading. I think you hand the card to the CM who pulls you from the line and sends you to your car.

You are right! I remember seeing them collect the red cards right as they were putting people on the numbers waiting for a car.

Yeah to get the most accurate they would have to collect just before boarding. Even at some other rides where it seems an extra job for that person when a CM was not 15 feet before them, loader still gets the card.

The wait before you get in the car. If you can, I highly recommend using the single rider line. You give up some of the design process, but may gain a much shorter wait in line.

We got a ton of the red cards for checking wait times. On TT, they took the card as they put us in the square to get ready to load into our car.

I know but we have a 7yr old in our group of 4 and half our fun is competing against whose car will win. I know we will get on it quick at least once, since we are always rope droppers. But if we come out of the exit and see it is still under 30 minutes "to get inside a car" we may try and do it again. After that, we only have Mission Space and Spaceship Earth to do before we hop over to Magic Kingdom for fast passes that start at 12-1pm. The other day we will be at Epcot later in the week, we have FEA passes (for the 7yr old) and plan on hitting Soarin at rope drop now. I keep changing my plans to best deal with the tier system. LOL
