Hello everyone...I already booked the Tinkerbell dinner show for this Dec.2006...The cost is € 202 for the four of us, my DH, and DD 4 ( and a half) and DD 6 ( and a half). I read that the dinner lasts 1hour and 30 min and the show the same. I'm afraid my girls will be so tired that they will fall asleep and not enjoy the evening. ( an expensive one). My DH almost fainted when I told him the price.
For those of you you have seen this show, do you think that I it's appropiate for the 4 and half yr old DD ?I'm afraind they will be tired ..after the whole day (even though I had planned of having them take a nap in the afternoon...but I'm sure it will be difficult to convince them to go to sleep in the afternoon, when they are missing being at the park), and the dinner is long .
Just the fact that we will be at DLP for 5 nights is already a lot. Maybe I should wait until they are a bit older and use this money towards the Character lunch and souvenirs ? I don't want to be sorry for spending the money and not having the girls enjoy themselves or for not booking the show. I can live without seeing the show and my DH can too....money is tight and this vacation is a big sacrifice ( but one that we are taking with pleasure for the girls to enjoy ...and of course me too....( and hopefully my DH who does not relly care about all the pre planning :-!)

Hi

Am I right in thinking you could get a refund?? If you've already booked then you may as well just look forward to it. I think you will be amazed at how much the little ones can do and you may be suprised that they stay awake.

Of course they'll fall asleep as soon as it's over and you may have to carry them home :rotfl: but you should get a lie in in the morning!

I'm sure you'll get lots of advice regarding the show but unless you can get a refund you may as well just enjoy........... :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Hi Janet....I only booked and have until Nov.26th when it will be billed to my credit card. I hbooked two months in advance.....I can cancel at any moment, as long as it's before the 26th of November !

IMO - Yes it is.

However, my experience is based on the fact we did Christmas Day Lunchtime so it was an already sepcial day even before the show.

We had good seats with fab views of both the stages. I suppose if you are at the back it would not be quite so good (having said that some of the dances come right down into the table area and santa appears on the small stage at the centre of the room).

We had nice, well cooked meals - I have read here some did not.

MY DD8 will eat anything so the menu was good for her - again I have read that if your childrens are faddy eaters, they may not eat at all.

It is expensive but as a special treat it was worth it IME.

Sarah, thanks for your opinion. If this were at lunch , then I would look at it differentlym but it's for dinner and I don't know at what time dinner is supposed to begin. I still have time to think about it and read other opinions. Thanks !
