Is the studio at BLT that bad?

We are staying in studio in Nov...we like the one bedrooms better but I wanted to save points so we could do 2 trips next year. This is a last minute trip...I hope it's not too bad. Can you share your experiences or pictures

We just stayed in a studio at BLT last week. It is smaller than others we've stayed in, but it is doable. Will you be opening the sofa bed and have a pack-n-play? If so, you will be very cramped. We had two adults and a 3 year old, and had the sofa bed open the entire time. While we were cramped a little, it was not too bad. I'm not sure where we would have put a pack-n-play. I don't want to discourage you, but it is an issue with larger families.

Hello, we just got back yesterday from BLT and we stayed in a MK view studio. It was just me and my DH, and we had no problems. We actually loved it. But we are used to staying in AsMu, and CBR (we just joined DVC) so this was great. And our view was Amazing.We were on the 11th floor.

The weirdest thing is that the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink is in the same room. As far as the studio goes it is our least favorite. It was small. however it is still nice and we had a good time.

We are a family of 4 (DD 8 and DS 9). We stayed in a studio and I thought it was fine. There is a lot of storage - more than any other studio we have ever stayed in. I think the designers put alot of thought into the layout (except for the kitchen/bathroom sink thing being odd - we didn't really mind it though). I thought that there was much more room to walk around when the sofabed was open than other studios. The table can actually seat 4 if you pull it out from the wall and bring in the balcony chairs.

I think you could put the pack and play in the front hall area where the lock off door is. We put all of our luggage there and a pile of shoes and a case of water. You may not be able to get the front door open though.

It is a beautiful resort. Have a great trip!

I wouldn't put a PNP in front of the front door. That's your escape route if there's an emergency (God forbid). A better place would be in front of the lock-off door.

Thanks for the info and pictures. We will probably have our DS in the bed with us (for vacations only) because he hated the pack and play this summer in SSR. Thanks for the good reports...it might be small but hey WE'RE in DISNEY! Next year we have a 2 bedroom (going with my parents) and will probably have a one bedroom around next oct... I can't wait for our first trip in Nov...looking forward to the nicer weather and lower crowds. My husband was alittle in shock this summer (he was used to Sept.) with the crowds

We'll be in a BLT Studio for 2 nights on our upcoming trip. It will be DH, me and our two teenage children. I am not at all worried about the space. Sure, it's going to be smaller than other studios, but it will be fine. We're really looking forward to it!

We just got back from a trip last week.. Family of four, my DD's are 3.5 and 4 and slept on the sofa bed. No problem with the size of the room for us. We took the ottoman and put in infront of the lockoff door and put our larger suitcase on top of it. Still plenty of room for us. Have fun!!!

We stayed 3 nights in a standard studio 9/3 to 9/6 room 5137. We were fine. There was no issue with the sliding bathroom door, or the duel sinks. There was plenty of storage for our cruise luggage, we had a lot. We were on the ground floor right by the bocci ball court and would have preferred a sheer curtain, but that didn't spoil our trip. We watched Wishes from the Top of the World Lounge, and the next day watched Hallo-Wishes from the walkway.

studio at BLT is definitely small.

that say being able to walk back from the MK is enough for me to buy there.
