Question says it all - I'm bringing 7 month old to WDW and want to use the stroller at airport - can I also bring his diaper bag as well or is the stroller considered the carry-on? Thanks!

No the stroller is not considered carry-on. You will be able to push it right up to the planes door then they will take it for you. When you get off wait at the door again and they will bring it back to you.

Phew! Thank goodness! I was really stressed about that - thanks!

The diaper bag is a carryon, but not the stroller. Also if you are flying SW, bring your infant seat with you on theplane, if the plane is not full, they will let you use it for the baby at no charge and then you will not need to hold him/her.

Is this always happen or does it depend on the flight crew? Here's hoping that happens to us in two weeks. We are flying SW and did not buy DS 14 mos. a seat. If he had one I think he might sleep.

I have 3 kids, and have flown w/them under the age of 2 (at various points) over 15 times. I have only had to hold them 2 times. If the flight is not full they actually prefer it. Just ask when you check in if it is full, even it is close, keep the car seat w/you and they will check it at the gate if it ends up being a full flight. Also is you have a "stop and drop" even if the 2nd leg is full and 1st is not, they will let you use it for the 1st leg of the flight. Best of luck!

how annoying is it to lug the car seat around though? I don't want to lug it through 4 legs and find out I couldn't use it at all- and we have the huge britax marathon.

We actually tied the seat (use the new clip on straps on the back of the car seat) to one of our wheeled carry-ons and dragged it through the airport. When we stopped the older kids would sit in it (for the convertable car seats). For us it is worth the trouble of carrying it, not to have to carry the baby on the plane. Two of our kids would sleep from taxi to landing on each leg. They are much more comfortable, and it is a lot less stressful on the parents. The youngest is too nosey - he doesn't sleep. But atleast he cannont get down either. The one time we had to hold him, he squirmed and cried the whole flight.
