I had an irritable stomach for 3 days last week and now DH has it. It was not too bad, just a bit inconvenient.

yep, both kids had it. The key thing is hand washing. And be sure to throw away any bags if the kis is throwing up in the bags, the vomit is contagious. Wash all of the bed linens and anything that's commonly touched by people, door knobs, hand rails, etc. And be sure to have your DS wash his hands every time he throws up. I know it's alot to do, but if you want to keep from spreading to the whole family, it will work. I'm thankful I never got it. Not that I want my kids to be sick, quite the opposite, but you know, when mom is sick, the world stops for a few days!

its been making its way thru our family for the last 10 days or so!

Yep, my 7 year old had it Thanksgiving night. Thankfully, no one else has gotten it here.

Got it last night thought it might of been food poisoning. I hadn't eaten all day and came home about 5:30 and had a turkey sandwich with cheese, nothing smelled foul or looked spoiled but about 30 mins after I ate it went right through me. I did this for about 9 hrs and still had a low grade pressure in my stomach that I knew was building up to the big upchuck. About 4am I couldn't resist it anymore and let it fly, I haven't thrown up like that since I was a kid and continued to do this until about 8 am. I feel a little better as I am not on the toilet with a trash can in my lap but now I have the worst headache ever. Will it ever go away, afraid to eat anything but drinking lots of water as I am dehydrated and cramping.

He had a fever too!
