I would not even think about getting on that alien ride! I am the biggest chicken in the world. I read where they made it more friendly, but just wanted to get an opinion.
I didn't think that the stitch ride was scary. My 3 & 4 year olds loved it. However, IMHP, and I am waiting for any bashes that may occur, I thought it was terrible. I would definately not wait in line for it. The presentation seems to just be thrown together and the story line is rather dumb.
I thought it was worth seeing once although not great. My DD6 loved it but my DD4 was not thrilled with parts of it. My nephew (6) was petrified, he is not the bravest of souls but we did not think the ride would be too bad. At points he was screaming, "Someone get me out of here!!!!!!!!!"
I was scarred for a little while when the lights went pitch black and you could hear him right next to you. I'm 17 and it freaked me out, i was definietly screaming. If you ask me this ride was a waste of time, it was trying to make AE less scary but now that little kids go on it they are getting scared. I'd skip it.
It was Ok but it would have been betterif I was an 8 year old boy. The smell of chili dogs lingered with me for the rest of the day. YUCK! DS (8) had dad ride it over and over with him while I sat and rested on the TTA with DSs (5)--last week the Stitch wait was equal to 3 times around on TTA and one FP on Buzz. DSs (5) rode it and thought it was ok, but they wanted to stay with me when the others went back to Stitch.
Has anyone elso noticed that Tomorrowland fills with the smell of chili dogs as they vent the Stitch ride for the next go around? It may just have been my imagination--like I said the smell stayed with me all day.
