Is the NY strip steak gone at the Coral Reef? I don't see the Creme Brulee cheesecake on the menu anymore.:headache:  If the steak is gone I will be cancelling two separate tables for September!!!!!!!!!!

The steak is still listed on the all ears net website. I hope they still have it.

Say it isn't so!!! First Crabs and now steak???  I hope this is not true!!! Not much left for me to like on the menu!!!! Planning to go there for 1st time in Sept!! I hope it is not a mistake!!!!

Do keep in mind that menus could change the day of your meal, so don't choose a restaurant based on any individual menu items.

It is on the menu :thumbsup2

DH just had the NY strip steak there on July 29th.

Oh man, I am no help with the dessert selection. We were on the dining plan for 9 days & ate SOOOOOO many desserts. What the four of us usually did each night was each order something different, so that we would have 4 different ones to try.

We ate there two weeks ago and steak was still on the menu - no crab legs though. 2 members of our family had the steak and thought it was really good.

HTH!

What is the Chocolate Wave? Can someone describe it? I too hope steak is still on the menu, as I have a seafood allergy, and reservations there next month on our anniversary.

We got the Wave for our wedding anniversary.

I had:
Baileys and Jack Daniel's Mousse - Topped with a ganache and chocolate cigar. - $7.99

Man, it was soooooooo good. (DD8 even loved it and wants to get it herself next time).

DH had the lemon tart thing. It was also very good. But nothing I had (outside of my cheesecake mini-castle birthday cake) could touch it this time.

We had a chocolate wave it was divine! So good, I think the prev poster just got one that wasnt prepared correctly, as mine was delish!

I hope they still have steak! Maybe it was just off the menu the day you were there? Maybe they ran out?

The staek was great last year. One of the best I had that week at Disney. I heard somewhere on this board that they had just gotten the chef that was at LeCellier and moved him to CR. Don't know if that is true but read it on the board. Chocolate Wave was also awesome. :goodvibes We enjoyed the entire meal but we ate lunch there and combined with the heat made me feel kind of ill. (could have been I stuffed myself or took one too many rides on Mission Space. LOL :lmao: ). Either way glad we have a dinner ressie this year.
