We have gone to the luau three times and wanted to go again this year (haven't been in three years), but there are no decent ADRs left for our party size. The show is very enjoyable; the food is mediocre. My family thinks the food at 'Ohana is much better than that of the luau; and b/c the seats would be way in the back on the nights we'll be there, we decided to wait until another time to go back. The earlier show is more kids-oriented, while the 9 pm show seems more authentic b/c it is darker, etc. When our kids were young, we went to the earlier show...DDs really liked learning to hula. After that, we have gone to the later show and found we enjoyed it even more. The food is the same at both, and it is only OK in our opinions.
