Is the resort coffee that bad?

Ok so don't laugh at me, but I am considering buying a compact Keurig to bring with us to the AoA suite. They are $65 on Amazon, and the Green Mountain Hazelnut pods are what we drink at home, so I was thinking of packing the machine and ordering coffee pods and half and half with our grocery delivery from Green Grocer.

Is it the machine + Joffrey's bad? Or just the Joffrey's? I tried searching for pods that fit a Cuisinart and am kind of coming up empty, but may be looking in the wrong place.

We are coffee people, and DH especially needs it to be happy in the morning.

I don't care for it, but I am picky about my coffee. I have a small 5 cup coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe that I bring with me when I travel to Disney. I bring regular ground coffee with me as well, and then buy half and half at the resort gift shop. I have found that only the resorts with DVC/campground have half and half--at moderates I've had to use regular milk. I've never stayed at value, so I don't know about those.

Florida tap water + machine + Joffrey’s is undrinkable for me.

Bottled water + machine + Joffrey’s is tolerable.

Bottled water and 2 pods of coffee for me. I don't like strong coffee like Starbs but I need 2 pods for a nice cup with these machines. I do ask my housekeeper or call for extras if needed.

Sometimes I grab milk too. Whole milk a decent substitute for 1/2 n 1/2.

I like joffreys. And I hate FL water. So it’s bottled spring water for the in-room coffee.

We drive so we bring a small Keurig. We are Florida residents and we won’t even drink unfiltered water. We buy a gallon bottle of water to use for coffee. DH ran out of his K-cups, so he made 2 cups of the Joffrey’s. He couldn’t drink the one without the filtered water, but once he used the filtered water, he said it was fine.

After finding mold in the resort coffee maker years ago we bring our mini Keurig and K-cups. $65 is a good price, cheaper than the ones on base.

We really didn't like the Joffrey's coffee - DH is a big coffee drinker and did have an occasional one but we mostly drank hot chocolate with breakfast then got a decent coffee later!

Need to use bottled water for the coffee. Then I find the Joffrey is fine. Better than the nescrap they had before! I buy a small milk for the room coffee. I don’t like half & half.
