And is it worth it to go to the late seating if I get a 20% discount? What time is the late seating? What kind of food do they serve? Anyone who has experience here, your views would be warmly welcomed!! Thanks!

Hubby and I did the luau last week and were at the 7:15 seating, I believe that later show was 9ish??. I'm glad we saw the show, but will skip it next trip in 2005. There were just two of us and I thought that they wasted alot of food. When you're first seated you get salad, bread and pineapple. The main course is chicken, which was very tender and good, ribs, chinese veggies, rice & dessert was chocolate & I think lemon cake. Everything was tasty and fresh, but the portion sizes are just too much for two people. I'm sure they throw away tons of food. :( Again, I'm glad we tried it, we had a good time and enjoyed the dancers, but would skip it next trip.

Did the Luau once some years ago, but like monte we would not do it again. Kind of like a "been there, done that" type of feeling. The show is a good show and very entertaining. Food is OK, but not something I would go back for. My motto is that I would always do something at WDW at least once to form my own opinion.

My DH and I went to the luau in 1996 and really enjoyed it; we are going again this November and bringing our 3 children this time. I think they will really enjoy it, especially since they loved Lilo & Stitch so much and are interested in Hawaiian things right now! :D

Sorry but I differ from the first two replys. We totally enjoyed the Luau last Nov, and will be doing it again this Dec. with our two teen DD's. The food was great and the dancers were very entertaining. The danceing told the story of the history of Poly Island dancing by giving examples of dance from all of the Islands. In my opinion it is not to be missed.

Hope you enjoy it!!
