Is the pizza really awful?

I don't think that Disney's target audience for the pizza is the gourmet pizza lover. I could be wrong, but it seems like they are targeting kids, and that age group seems to be pretty happy with the pizza. We encountered lines, and had to wait multiple times for the cheese pizza, because it was so popular with the kids. My picky then 8-year-old ds who hardly eats loved the pizza, and insisted on getting two pieces AFTER dinner each night. If your family doesn't like the pizza, there are many other offerings at any given time. I hope you have a great cruise!

The late singer-song writer Harry Chapin had an audience participation portion of a song in which the audience yelled "It Sucks!!"
I thought it was "Harry - It Sucks" To bad he's passed on. With his passion for hunger issues he'd be taking us to task over our eating habits on the ship. Ok, off of the soap box and back to your regularly scheduled Pizza Thread.

Of all the food eaten on the ship - the pizza was the worst for us. The only way it is even a bit edible is when it comes right out of the oven.....otherwise, it sits under the heat lamp and turns into cardboard.....

There's a saying that pizza is like s**. Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. Most adults know that is just not true!!! I thought the pizza onboard was gross, but I loved the chicken fingers. Try it and decide for youself!

Personally I didn't care for the pizza but there are others that rave about it. However, the best pizza I have ever had on a cruise ship was on the Diamond Princess. It was awesome!!!

I was on the Magic in November and thought the pizza was fine. It certainly wasn't the best I've ever had but it was ok.

I actually really like the pizza, especially the room service one! But then I like the pizza on the Boardwalk and that always gets slated on these boards so it probably is a matter of personal preference and what you're used to. Rest assured though, pizza is by no means the only thing to eat on those ships!
