Does anyone know what "select dates" they are referring to? I was kind of thinking this would be a good lunch to have on arrival day (9/9), but not sure if it is one of the dates that they are offering it.

I just read it somewhere, but can't remember where. It was something like 14 days in September and 14 in October. I'll try and find the post.

To help absorb some of the crowds from the free dining promotion, Disney has added a lunch option at one of their most popular restaurants, Chef Mickey's Buffet. Chef Mickey's Fun Time Buffet Lunch will be held from 12:30-2:30 for select dates in August and September. The menu appears to be the same as the dinner menu, with such items as Mickey cheese ravioli, Roasted turkey breast, Baked salmon fillet with mango wasabi coulis over rice, and a sundae bar for dessert.

Prices are $28.75 for adults and $15.97 for children. Lunch is available through the 28th of August and again from September 19-30.
