Is the MVMCP on Nov 15th still the best bet?

We will be there the week of Nov 12th-19th. Normally we attend the MVMCP on a Tuesday or a Thursday night, as these are supposedly the lower attendance nights. Anyway, this year, that week only has three parties, no party on Thursday night as MK is rented out for a private party, so my question is, since Tuesday will be the only midweek party that week, will it still be the better choice, over Sunday and Friday night parties. Also, will they still do fireworks for the private party, thinking since we can't be in MK that night, maybe choose a dinner at a resort restaurant where we can watch the fireworks and see the ELP. Just a thought. Thanks

It is not rented for a private party - it is the cast member service milestone event (5 yrs, 10 yrs, 15 yrs of service etc.). I do not know if there will be fireworks or not. It is the first year it has been at MK according to CM's on this board so not a lot is known about it. If I had to guess, I would not plan on being able to see fireworks from the MK resorts that night but I could be wrong.

In regards to the party, Tuesday is probably your best bet but I would expect both Tuesday and Sunday to be busy since there are only two parties that week.

Tuesday will have the least number of locals. It's usually suggested to go on a Tuesday but as you get closer to the holidays and with only two parties that week like I said it's a coin flip. If I were you I'd go with Tuesday but don't be surprised if it is indeed crowded.

Well Tuesday of course is my logical thinking but, with no party on Thursday it made me question my choice. I've never gone on a Sunday or Friday night, I always followed what I had read on here and avoided them, so I didn't really have anything to compare too. Thanks

Heads up that week is when they filmed the Christmas parade last year. We where at the Nov 13th (friday) party last year, and walked in during the middle of the filming. It was awesome by the way, you can't really tell they are filming unless you are on Main St so it wasn't a big deal in the rest of the park.

The party wasn't overly busy on that Friday, just a normal party IMO.
