Is the members site down

I haven't been able to log onto the members site, is it down? I've been trying all evening.

If you are using a bookmark to access the member website, it might be outdated, at least that has happened to me. Try going to your MDE webpage. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. In the pale blue area, click on Disney Vacation Club and see if you can get logged in that way. It has worked for me in the past.

I can't get in either.
I keep getting enter and activation code.
It doesn't even go to user name and password

I just checked and my old DVC bookmark quit working too. I used the workaround I posted above and got in just fine. Then I made a new bookmark.

What seems to have happened is Disney has changed the web address from dvcmember.disney.go.com to disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com (the first is what I had bookmarked, and now refuses to load at all). If you simply type in dvcmember.com though it will automatically redirect to the second (new) address.

Isn't it nice that they make a change with out any info on the change. Thankfully we have this board to keep us informed.

See ivanp91's post above. The URL actually changed a while back. I had updated the bookmark on my computer a while ago but had not updated the one on my iPad. So I needed to do that.

I agree to try the work around that Jean posted. Sign into your MDE account, then go to the very bottom of the page where there are links to other Disney affiliates. Select Disney Vacation Club.

On the previous version there used to be away to get yourself out of the asking for an activation code and that worked the couple of times I had that, but I haven't had that particular issue since they changed the website so I don't know if it still exists. It was a tiny link notation on the previous one that was easy to miss so maybe it's still there with this one? If not I recommend at least trying the MDE method.

I did that.....still get the same thing.

Nope ....same thing.
I will have to call.....odd thing is, I can log on with my desktop, just not laptop. Which doesn't help me when I need to make a reservation while on a trip.
So....something with my laptop? There is nothing different about it from any other time, so not sure what is going on

I might have missed it, but did you clear the browser cookies on your laptop? I believe that has been the solution for some people.

I did and that worked, not sure why that made it different from my desk top, but hopefully all will be good when I need to book while away from home.

Thanks guys, I realized that DVC changed their address when I put Disney Vacation Club in my search and it came up with a different address.

I finally got around to re -doing all of my bookmarks. Now I won't have to start over with www.dvcmember.com every time I want to visit the RAT, online booking or check the dashboard.
