We've wanted to try the "Kitchen Sink" at Beaches and Cream for years (ever since seeing it on the Travel Channel)...so is it the best the "World" has to offer ??

My favorite dessert at WDW last trip was the raspberry napoleon at Flying Fish.

I didn't think the ice cream at B&C was very good quality. Ghiradelli's was better ice cream, and even that wasn't as good as the small homemade shops I go to near home.

Not what I would call the best dessert, but definately the biggest and the funnest to eat with a group of people. We can say with 5 of us working on it and 2 of them teeanagers that they finally met their match when it came to trying to eat it all.:rotfl2:

It's a huge ice cream concoction, so if that's your preference, you'll love it. I'm not a huge ice cream fan so it doesn't tempt me at all. Dessert, like any other course, is a very personal matter of preference. I don't think you "won't" enjoy it, so have at it at least once! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Our grands loved it..I think more for the fun. I don't care for the mixture of ice cream, chocolate bundt cake, cherries, whip cream, brownies, peanut butter, pineapple, hot fudge, strawberries, pound cake, marshmallow, oreos, chocolate morsels, butterscotch, almonds all melting together. (I'm sure I missed some)

I would chose anything but that, I just don't care for ice cream for dessert.
my fave would mousse or brulee, every where I go I try brulee. I can't seem to help myself :scratchin

I'd say it's the most "fun" dessert.
The best in my opinion is the Bread and Butter pudding at Ragland Road on PI.

It is a blast!! We got it during our "wedding week" and shared it with the family members that were there with us. It was a blast! They didn't know what it was, so when it came out, you should have seen the looks on their faces! If you have a lot of people, I say, go for it! Wear your pants a size bigger that day-you may need it! We did! Hee Hee!

The berry cobbler at Artist Point...YUM!!!

Second place? DH would say the Oreo bon bons at Cape May, and DS would say the Kiddie Kone at Kona Cafe.

I think it is a fun dessert. But personally I think it is a big mess. I don't like my stuff all mixed together and melty.

We ordered the fudge mud slide. That was really good.

Just about any of it at Alfredo di Roma's or Chefs de France in Epcot get my mouth watering!

We saw a family order the Kitchen Sink over the holidays. They were having such an awesome time with it. It is A LOT of ice cream! Be sure you plan on running the kids down afterwards...otherwise, they might never come off the sugar high! :rotfl:

Oreo bon bons get my vote.

I like dessert period, but I do love the Chocolate Cheesecake at Tony's Town Square.

Just curious as to how much this dessert costs. I cant imagine being able to finish it :rotfl2:

I love dessert, and ice cream, but this makes me feel a little ill. I think it's the combination of things. So when at Beaches & Cream I'll stick to the No Way Jose or something a bit smaller. :)

We ordered a KS once and it was alot of fun.....very memorable for the kids. However, it is not what I would call a great dessert. It was okay, but as others have said it just turns into a "Big soup" of a bunch of different flavors.

If you are looking for a great dessert, I loved the berry cobbler at Artist Point or the toffee creme brulee at the Rose and Crown. Enjoy!! :flower:
