Is the Jammin Jungle parade worth seeing?

This is my FAVORITE parade! We cannot miss this one, and I always try to arrange our schedule so we can "drop by" AK on days we're not there, just to see this parade! It's the best! The music, the characters, and everything is terrific--now I have to go listen to the music because it's stuck in my head! :simba:

I can't wait until June!

Definatly worth seeing!! Mickey's Jungle Jammin parade is my fave parade! I love the music also, it always makes me dance and I am always listening to it in my car.

I had my suspicions about this parade. However, I should have known that it's Disney and that means GREAT.

We were at AK and, having just finished up Kilimanjaro Safari and Pangani Exploration Trail, were making our way to the front of the park when we got stopped by the parade. We really didn't intend to watch it.

Boy, are we glad we did! It's incredible. When we visited AK again later in the week, we couldn't wait to catch the parade.

If you enjoy the parades, you'll enjoy Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.

It's a fantastic afternoon Parade ~ We love it.

It's wonderful - colorful and energetic. Get this...we were in it this past season. We were there Thanksgiving weekend and they picked us out of the audience. We rode in the last float with Mickey. Very exciting. My hand got tired of waving and my teeth cracked from smiling.

No, we will not be driving. I'm thinking of changing the ADR to Boma's to be closer, but I have to give up either Ohana's or LTT. Hard choices!

I didn't notice your ADR question before. But we are doing this exact thing - spending the day at AK, watching the parade near Africa (we always hang just in front of the Dawa Bar). Then, as KMH1 said, we are jumping on a bus for the Poly for a 6pm 'Ohana ADR.

After dinner, we'll take the boat back to MK and jump on a bus back to the Boardwalk.

Very doable!

how do you listen to it in your car? do they sell the cd's in the park? please let me know where you get the music?
TIA

It is full of life and rhythm and that's why we liked it so much. It's hard not to find yourself dancing as the parade goes by. We liked it more than the typical afternoon parade down Main Street in MK, because it wasn't as crowded and the parade itself was just so alive.

What is it about this parade that makes it so good and worth sticking around for aside from the music? How are the floats?

The floats are often puppets of animals that take several costumed puppeteers to operate and are fabulous. Heads move, arms move (ok, front legs!), really they are special...this is a don't miss for us...my favorite is Spectro and this is next.

Lots of stilt walkers...both people in costumes and puppeteers...it is WONDERFUL! It's really a lovely parade for all ages...and even though you said "aside from the music" I must say the music really adds to it, makes you want to dance! We're in our 50's and we love this parade (but then everyone's a kid at Disney World).

Can't help with Disneyland, sorry, as it's still on my list of places to go.

Jammin Jungle is a very good parade. It is catchy and upbeat. But just a little FYI for those who don't know, the Christmas parade- Jingle Jungle- is currently playing at AK.

This is currently my favorite parade. If you are expecting an extravaganza like Spectromagic, you'll probably be disappointed. But if the question is, "What kind of street festival would occur in Africa or India, if Mickey & Minnie were there?" ...this parade answers that question. This parade just makes me feel good inside.

We have a CD of parade music - the Jammin' Jungle Parade is exactly the time it takes to get to Safeway from my house. We listen to it all the time.

holy resurected thread batman. Why did a 8 month old thread sudenly get brought back to life? ha..just start a new one. :rotfl2:

We think its an excellant parade, but you'll have to decide about changing your ADR's. Enjoy which ever you choose.
