Is the Hertz counter convenient at MCO?

We never rent a car for disneyworld, but this time we have to. My husband's company has a contract with Hertz, so we can get a pretty good discount. Where is the Hertz counter? Is it convenient? We'll have that club card so we don't have to wait on line at the counter. Does that help?

they don't have a counter at the airport. you must take the shuttle bus to their sight which is like a 7 min bus ride. not too bad. I rented from them before and had no problems except they didn't apply my discount like they were supposed to do........but finally got it taken care of....

Thanks for the info Beverly. What companies are actually in the airport? I'll have my mother and two preschoolers in tow--I'd prefer to skip a busride if possible.

On our trip in 1995 we used a TA. She assured us that Hertz was in the airport. Guess what? Wasn't the only thing she was wrong about. She went out of business in 1997.

The bus ride is not too bad and if you are a Hertz Club member your car is ready for your and you. You just get off the Hertz bus look for your name on the board to tell you which spot your car located. They keys are in the car and it is ready for you. Very nice and convenient.

We got a car with our Airmiles from Alamo. Has anyone had any experiences with this company in Orlando? Is it far to their lot?
