We are going to be at WDW for the first night which isn't on a weekend but I don't want to choose that one if it's super crowded. Anyway have any info on that?

TIA!

I've never been to the first night of MVMCP, so I can't comment on this. Can anyone offer any advice?

That's the night I am looking at too, since I am leaving WDW a few days after that. I can't imagine it would be too crowded since it is a month and a half before xmas.

Last year I surprised my DD's and took them down for the MVMCP, it was the first one of the year. It was far more crowded than I had expected, but still tolerable.

The year before we went to probably around the 5th or 6th one and it was far less crowded.

We were there for the first one on Nov 07
We didn't think it was bad at all

The parade was amazing! I swear, I tear up when the toy soldiers came
around the corner.
The lines for the rides were not bad at all. Mostly walk on
My DS7 and I were the only goof balls on Splash Mountain :)
It was just a little chilly.
And don't forget the hot chocloate and cookies!!:santa:

so it is chilly? Just at night or daytime too? The last time I went to WDW in winter it was Jan 96 and I wore l/s, pants and a light jacket and refused to step one foot on splash mountain! LOL My sister was able to run right on Splash Mountain over and over again for about an hour before she got too cold and was the only person riding it.

and thanks for the info on the first night! :goodvibes

I can't remember which night we were there that got a little chilly, but we were fine with a long sleeve t-shirt or light sweat jacket when it did get chilly.

We went to the first night in November 2006. It was very busy and crowed. Castmembers thought so too.

The rides were not. Everyone was on Main Street waiting the first parade and fireworks. That is the time to hit the rides and do the shows!
