Question For those of you who have gone on a Halloween cruise this year and ordered the drink of the day on the Halloween themed day … On our cruise last week we ordered the drink of the day, which was a haunted Rita, it was $8.00 plus gratuity, at first I thought all the drinks of the day had gone up in price but a few days later we ordered a drink of the day capital mai tai , and that was $5. Is it normal that the “holiday” drink of the day is more?

I was charged $10.24 for a haunted Rita on the Wish last week when it was the drink of the day and $6.49 earlier in the cruise for another drink of the day(don't remember what it was)

Ah so must be that the haunted Rita is more expensive

Have they changed the Halloween drinks on all of the ships, or is the Haunted Rita a Wish-only thing?

I was on the fantasy and the drink of the day on Halloween day was haunted Rita and they charged $8 plus the 18 % but appears the other drinks of the day stay at $5 plus the 18 %

I remember on past Halloween cruises, it was spooky juice and was purple. Same dotd price. I’ll have to remember that since we leave Saturday and will be on the ship 10/31.

I noticed this too. I hadn't put it together that it was the Halloween day, but I did notice that on just one day of the cruise the DotD was more expensive. Looking back now it was the Haunted Rita.

They had a Haunted Rita on the Magic 2 weeks ago but don't know the price as I didn't order it.

But was the drink good? There are a few DotD that are one and done. Just wondering

nah. I had it in two locations. The first time I tried it they substituted ingredients because Luna Lounge was out of something. That was the only reason I gave it a second chance. But even the second time, with all its intended ingredients, I wouldn't order it again. Since it is more expensive anyway, I'd rather re-order any of the other DotD selections from earlier in the cruise, or even just a plain margarita.
