I was just wondering is the savings worth it, sounds silly once I write it out but just wondering if its worth it based on the resorts that are offered and if many are taking advantage of it.

Are you wondering if you should change all of your vacay plans and head down to Disney to take advantage? If it’s along those lines I’d say no, this isn’t some crazy amazing discount worth going out of your way for. Do you find the price acceptable with the discount but you’re wanting to know if there will be better discounts in the future? Alas only Disney knows the answer there.

Do realize that just because Disney has a room available at a hotel doesn’t that mean the discount will work on it, you need to see a room available at the discounted rate. (Disney only releases a limited amount of their inventory for discounts.)

I haven't seen that offer yet? Did it just come out, and is there a link to it? Thanks.
This offer has been out for a couple months & is on the website. Save up to $100 night for a stay in deluxe up to 5 nights. And then a lower discount for moderates & values.

We booked a deluxe room at the BWI and got the $500 off 5 nights rate (we actually are staying 8 nights and the price is off per night, so we got $800 off). It isn’t as much as the AP discount, which unfortunately I have not been able to get, but I was happy to at least get something off! I wouldn’t plan a trip for it, but since our last 2 trips have been rack rate (which I have never ever had to do in the past!) I was happy to get something.

The 5 nights is an illustration. If the room is available under the promotion you can get the discount, even if for one or two nights. There is no minimum stay required.

If you were already planning to go to Disney, whatever discounts they may be offering will save you a few dollars. They are almost always advertising some sort of discounts, that is what marketing does. When the discounts are on 'selected room' and 'up to x% off' it is more to generate traffic to get people to book reservations. Every room at every hotel will NOT be offered at a discount. If you plan to stay at a specific resort in a certain room category there is no guarantee there will ever be a discount.

I did not know this!

Also I didn't realize it is 'save up to' $100 per night. Looks like $100 for deluxe, $40 for mods, $20 value.
