Is the crane still behind the Castle??????

I was reading there was a big crane by the castle for some painting.....The last post was on 12/07
Anyone just coming home see it or is it gone????

no,,we were there on wed-it was there in the morning and at night it was gone...makes for a better picture!!

today, we caught sight of the castle from the monorail twice and saw the crane each time. tomorrow is our MK day and hopefully it'll be gone.

That stinks! I was hoping that the crane would be gone before our trip. I'm starting to get worried now. We leave on the 14th. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be gone by the time we get there.

And if you don't get lucky, then maybe you can buy some photo-editing software and take care of it yourself.

For example, here's a "before" shot. Notice the crane at the top spire, as well as the yellow "bucket" holding the painter dude, directly below the main spire about half-way down or so (if you really look for it you can't miss it -- follow the wire straight down from the crane):



And here's the "after" shot. We took out the crane, as well as the guy in the right foreground -- we replaced him with bushes! Notice that we didn't take out "Tinks wire" that goes off to the right of the pic, as that's something that's always there.


If all else fails, we were told by a PhotoPass photographer that the crane usually disappears by about 2:00 p.m. each day. Or do what we did in the "before" picture -- since the crane sticks up way high over the castle, cut off your shot att he top of the spire, so that you miss a lot of the crane against plain sky.

It is still there and in look at pictures its in em... but really, it took nothing away from my Disney vacation

The crane is there, but the can and do lower it so it is out of site. It is stored where the wishing well is.
