Is the Contemporary Resort .....

Finally got to stay @ CR MK tower view last Oct. , our new #1 WDW resort; IMO:

* there is absolutely NOTHING that can compare to being able to sit on your balcony, turn up the tv & enjoy wishes; in your pajamas ...2 hops skips & a jump & you're nestled in the big, comfy beds watching the flat screen tv while most are just trudging down main st. to begin the commute.

* no better a.m. wakeup than the faint, yet distinctive, rumble of the 1st monorail of the day...followed by Chef Mickey's gearing up.

* 10 min. (less for those in better shape than I ) walk to the MK.

many DVC'ers are wishing for a new home @ the north site.

Those are a lot of things that make staying at the Contemporary a memorable vacation.

keishashadow - Right on the money. The first thing I would hear were the birds then I knew it was time to start the day. I set the alarm only one day and that was the first. The first thing I did each morning was look at the castle . If I got up during the night then I would look at the castle and while in the room I could see the reflection of the castle in the mirror

Man I miss it so!

btw - they don't pipe the Wishes music through the tv anymore.

I noticed that last December. I was still able to hear it from the Magic Kingdom when I was on the balcony, however it was a lot better when it was on the tv.
