My DS will almost be 3 when we go and i hear so many fantasic things about the cindy breakfast that i think he may enjoy this
BUT.... is this character breakfast geared more towards girls

just wondering if it would be worth the time to take him or should i just stick with one of the other character meals

thanks

I have never actually been luickily enough to get ressies for cindies, but my 2 DS's age almost 3 and almost 4 in February this year, met Cindie in Toontown, and they were even more in awe than when they met the man (or mouse) himself!!!They were so shocked......'mum, is that the real cinderella??'
The adore the film cinderella.....although the older on is now being macho saying it is for girls, but they do still love it.
We have lovely pictures of her hugginh them both, and she told them they were very handsome young men...........how nice and refreshing!!!:D

So I would say, go for it.....we are hoping to try and get ressies for next July, when the boys will be almost 4 and 5, but they'll still love it!!

I have 2 sons ages 7 and 3 and we have ressies for Cindy's breakfast for Christmas day. My sons are excited about just being in the castle-something we've never done before. I think your boys will love Cindy's.:Pinkbounc

We took our DS when he was 3 and again when he was 6. When he was 3 he enjoyed it a bit. He was still in the shy stage and hid behind me from Snow White (who called him her 8th dward "stinker"). They also had Pocahontes there at the time and he was really into John Smith, so it was okay to see her. When he was 6, he didn't care for it. Too much emphasis on princesses for him. He didn't like the attention they showed him. For our trip next month, he was adament he didn't want to go to castle and see any princesses -- fine with me, saved me from attempting to get the PS. :D

Have two girls here... I don't recall seeing any little boys who were not accompanied by sisters. At 3, and not enamored by meeting a princess, he may be more interested in one of the other character breakfasts/meals.

My daughter aged 4 loved it... the 3 year old girl in all honesty, could take it or leave it. But when she met Chip and Dale, and Mickey and Minnie - now that was heaven to her. Loved Hollywood and Vine - played jazzy music and the characters got up and danced like every 30 minutes or so. Much more entertaining to her and characters seemed to be around more.

If you can only pick one ressie with a Character, maybe another one would be best. Unless he's seen Cinderella or Mary Poppins and wants to meet her. We did have Prince Charming there, but he's not always there.

I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Either way, he'll enjoy the castle if you do decide to go.

My DD is a CM at WDW, and in fact frequently is a Princess at CRT. She tells me that the little boys love the breakfast just as much as the little girls--sometimes even more. She has had little boys come up to her and bow and kiss her hand!! How cute!! If she senses that the little boy isn't too interested in Princesses, then she talks to him about her friends Buzz and Woody. That usually does it. have fun!!

I think your DS would love it! Bring him and have a great time!

thank you everyone for all the great advice- we have PS at chef Mickey, 1900 Park, Crystal Palace and the Ice cream social- I have decided to TRY to get PS for Cindy's - hopefully luck will be on my side!! I figure after going to all these Character dinners we are going to be broke anyway so why not go for Cindy's too -the icing on the cake!

PKK/MJK - Your princess daughter sounds just lovely, that is a great idea about Buzz/Woody and it is wonderful of her to be able to sense that about some boys. I am taking my dd -5 and ds- 7 and I think they will both love it. He is at the age where he knows their are people in the costumes, but a face character will add to the magic for him. PKK/MGK - is your daughter that absolutely gorgeous Snow White I have seen pictures of a storybook? LOL

I have a son 6 and daughter 5, we have been to the CRT breakfast about 5 times or so. When we asked my son on his 5th birthday which of the character breakfasts he wanted to go to, he asked for Cindy's.

We just got back and my sons, ages 6 and 10, continue to enjoy Cindy's. We've been there 4 times now and it remains one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. They enjoy the castle atmosphere, the suits of armor and of course the delicious breakfast. Honestly, they do interact with the characters but I think they would still enjoy Cindy's even if there were no characters there.

My boys first went at ages 8 and 6 and then 10 and 8. Both times they just tolerated the Princesses for their mom and sister. I have hilarious pictures of them rolling their eyes. They don't want to do either again, but at the age of 3 I bet your little guy will be much more impressed. Peter Pan was there both times for us, they enjoyed the guy character.

My sons DS 12 & 10 both have wanted to eat in castle, decided if I was lucky enough to get Cindy's for Xmas we would do the breakfast. Both actually want to, kinda turned it into a boy thing. You see on their very first visit to MK, about 7 years ago, they remember during the parade, Cindy looking right at their dad and make a smile with her hands across her own cheek(hubby must not have been smiling) well they have always teased him about being a "dog"(flirting). So my three menfolk are happy to be surrounded by "Princesses".

Our DS loves "the girls" so I thought for his 6th b-day we would go to Cindy's for breakfast. Also our DD LOVES the princesses and it gave us a chance to kill 2 birds with 1 stone Well he wasn't thrilled with ANYONE knowing it was his birthday.Refused to wear the B-day pin.Furious that Goofey had a b-day call at City Hall.So I had a feeling things would take an ugly turn at Cindy's ;) He loved the idea of breakfast in the castle with the princesses. But made us hide the cupcake, took off the glitter in the table. But it was too late.Cinderella herself came over to wish him a happy b-day.He got under the table. Not missing a beat she hoisted up her gown, sat under the table with him and chatted with him.Snow White came flying over and planted a big red lipstick mark on his forehead.Embarressed to say the least he LOVED every minute of it.He enjoyed it and still talks about it to this day.So go ahead and bring your boys.We are going in January and hope to land PS again. The Storybook Breakfast is very nice also if you can't get into Cindy's.
Heidi

Glad to hear he had such a fun time! Can't wait to see my sons faces when all the Princesses appear! I know it'll be worth it.
