Is the blue lagoon restaurant included in HB Plus

Hi,

I am certain I read a thread recently that said the blue lagoon restaurant is now included in the half board plus.

I cannot find the thread and cannot find any info on the official disney site to confirm one way or the other

Does anyone know if this is correct - also the blue lagoon is the restaurant in the pirates of the carribean ride

From 3rd April 09, the Blue Lagoon is indeed advertised as being on the half board plus plan . You are right, its the restaurant located at the start of the POTC ride.

DW and I used our HB Plus vouchers in there last June.

we go on the 2nd april so the timing is perfect.

I thought these HB plus vouchers were going to be so simple, but they are going to give me a headache choosing which restaurants to dine in

Mind you it is so nice to have such a range of eateries to choose from

Hi,

It's great that this restaurant is now included have eaten there once before in 2004, service really slow but food really good. Will have to ask for a table near the water as last time i forgot although the restaurant is really atmospheric wherever you sit.

Would you recommend this restaurant for children. I have 7 & 5 year old would the food and astmosphere be okay

I have never been with children and i suppose it depends what your children are like. The restaurant is very dark basically only lit by the candles on the table. This is because you sit right by the ride and it would distract those on the ride from the Pirates of the caribbean story.
The food itself is mainly fish based although there are alternatives for those who don't eat fish like my husband. The food itself is quite exotic for instance ostrich is on the menu. I'm not sure what is on the childrens menu but it should be on drp food guide which is great.
