Is the 4th FP+ in effect? Anyone there now that can test?

On the FP Manipulation thread, a poster said that the 4th FP is up and running. Can anyone test this and report back?

We're leaving in six weeks, and I'd love to know how this is working.

I saw that someone mentioned on the boards that they were just back and that yes it was in effect. I have no personal knowledge but they said they were instructed on how it is currently being done.

It's actually started already. It was explained to us last weekend while we were there. After you use all 3 of your "original" ones (not just book, but actually go on the ride), you are able to get another one, but it has to be at the same park. Once that one is used, again, you can get another one, but again, at the same park. They're still working on the park-hopping feature for it, but it is coming.

It was found under the "fast pass plus manipulation thread" if you want to read it. I do not see why the person would not be truthful about it.

I just called Disney and they said that info is not correct. At this time it is 3 fast passed only per day.

More often than not phone CM provide incorrect information. I put much more stock in what someone on the DIS reports.

Not only do the phone CM's often not know what is going on but Disney could be quietly testing this and be in full denial mode. The trouble is that there is no way to tell if everyone is being offered the extra fastpass(es).

I'm the one that posted it. The info about it came directly from our group trip coordinator assigned to our school's group. I did not get to try to use it, because our FP were so late in the evening that nothing was available, but I do know it can only be set up at the kiosks around the park (not the MDX app).

All the same, I'm just reading the one report third- or fourth-hand that it is working at the moment. It is not a question of someone being honest or truthful, but how much the info remains accurate when passed between multiple people. I'm waiting on calling this live until I read a number of like reports.

We are in WDW now and could only book 3 on phone MDE. We went to a few kiosks to try for a 4th but the kiosk lines have been crazy long that we decided it wasn't worth the wait. The ride lines looked to take less time than the kiosk lines!

If it does work I think the 3 need to be used up first before a 4th can be booked. I would rather see it as a revolving 3 so after you use the first one you could book another one. Would allow for an evening prebooked FP which wouldn't worked to your advantage if you have to use all 3 first to get to a revolving 4th one.
