Is the 4 night cruise worth it?

We have gone on the 7 day Eastern cruise & my kids have been begging to please go back again - they were 5 & 8. They are now 9 & 12.

I would like to combine a trip to MIL's house in Fla. & the cruise. But will be taking kids out of school in APril & don't want to take them out more than a week.

Just curious to those that have done both the 4 & 7 night to see what your thoughts are. Is the 4 night worth the money or should we just go to Disney for 4 nights?

Comments appreciated!

A 4-night cruise in combination with a visit to see MIL sounds like a great vacation...Never in one place long enough to get bored or get on anyone's nerves yet within the amount of vacation time you have...A 3-day cruise would, as so many posters have pointed out, be just a tease, especially after your 7-day...
Have a GREAT vacation!

One nice thing about the shorter cruises is that you don't have to pack as many clothes (and/or do laundry while onboard).

We have done the 3, 4 and 7. The three is too short (but works very nice with a 4 night visit to WDW right before). The 7 night is very relaxing and we loved it! The 4 night was good, really good. We enjoyed it and will probably be looking at doing those during spring break in the future because it works out better with our 1 week schedule.

Go for it!

We've taken a 3 day, 4 day and 7 day. We love the 7 day but have booked a 4 day for next April due to our budget and the kids' vacation schedule. I loved the 4 day. That last day at sea gives you time to relax and enjoy the ship.
