Is the $19.99 meal deal a good idea?

Were the restaurants good and were they conveniently located? Can you order anything at the restaurant?

Personally, I'd rather just buy what I want to eat rather than sticking to the meal deal but you will have to decide that for yourself. You can wait and purchase the meal deal at the participating restaurants. That way you can see the prices of the meals and see if it would be a good deal for you or not.

Meal Deal Menu

You can buy a one park meal deal or a two park meal deal. On the days
when the park closes early (around 6:00 PM,) the two park meal also
include 4 Citywalk restaurants: Pastamore, Bob Marley, Latin Quarter,
and Pat O'Brien's. During busy times, Burger Digs and Monster Cafe are
also added to the Meal deal.

For us the meal deal is not something we would do. We like to have a nice sit down dinner and are not big fast food people. We just pay for the lunch that we want (using AAA gives a discount on all food at Universal) and then have a nice dinner.

if i stay for 5 nights/6 days in the parks, i buy the meal deal for the studio side.
i like the food at louie's and ifff.

on the day i feel like grazing and not doing rides, i do the meal deal.
i could eat louie's pizza and salad until it came out my ears.



i'm a rebel.
none of the other homies enjoy it like i do...........

Interesting .... I didn't realize it included City walk when the park closes at 6. I couldn't see how it would be a good deal when they closed before dinner time

What food is included at the city walk restaurants? Are drinks included at all?

the info on that meal deal with cw is on the uo website.
off of the top of my head, i don't remember the menus for the restaurants that are participating.

I would not recommend the deal. It forces you to eat too much to get the full benefit IMHO.
