Is Swapping Drink Allowed at QS Locations?

We're heading back in September on a FD BB. Since we only drink water with our QS meals, does anyone have experiences with being able to swap their drink for a side or dessert? Being able to swap items last year was so awesome. If not, Dasani it will be!

Disney took that wording off the DDP brochure, and it's been very inconsistent since. I would still ask EVERY time, because you never know when they'll say yes.

In short, no. They changed the policy on that, but like sharonabe mentioned you could get lucky. Never hurts to ask.

I've read they are more flexible at the resorts, where you can use the refillable mug. But, YMMV

Definitely ask. We were just there last week and we were able to switch drink for dessert at Contempo Cafe and also at Boardwalk Pizza Window.
