I see rumors of it closing, I saw a rumor that it had closed, but I am still seeing wait times listed.

Can anyone confirm?

Is it currently closed?

Closing in the future temporarily or for good?

I believe it's only rumored to be closing. It's not on any list of permanently closed attractions or attractions that are scheduled to be closing soon

For right now it looks like it has gotten a reprieve. It was removed from park maps this past month, but seems to have been added back. The rumor is that Disney is planning to keep it open through the busy summer rush. However, the ride has still lost its sponsorship so I would expect it to close in the near future, probably by the new year. If you are going to be in Disney this summer, definitely ride this attraction before its gone.

To be clear, the rumor started because the sponsorship was not renewed. So, it might be de-branded, or re-branded. It may not be funded. But people are just assuming it will close at this point.

A decision internally has definitely been made to close. The question was when.
It's always possible that circumstances will change. But unless things have changed very recently, it was just a case of deciding how long to let it run without the sponsorship deal.
