Is Stitch really that bad?

I'm pretty indifferent to this ride, but my kids love it... mostly because they think it's funny that Daddy ALWAYS gets spit on. He has tried to figure out the right place to sit, has changed it up, has looked for evidence of water from previous rides... Nope. Stitch has it in for my DH. Even he is kind of amused by it now.

We personally like the Stitch ride. Going in you know there will be darkness and rotten egg smell. Then before you know its over and your in line for Monsters Inc laugh floor
I LOVE laugh floor. We go two or three times a trip, don't care if half the jokes are the same.

Everyone in my family dislikes the Stitch ride. But, you won't know for sure until you try it yourself. It's fairly long as "rides" go - about 15 minutes, so it's more like a short show than a ride, actually.

I've been on it once during the first year it opened. I knew that I needed to keep the restraint from coming all the way down from reading the boards. I didn't leave the attraction with any strong feelings one way or the other:confused3. I know my DS would never be able to tolerate it due to his sensory issues so we haven't been back, but my thought is... if you're in that general area, why not do it? If it were me, I'd do it just to see for myself...You've already paid for it with your admission to the park so you might as well have first-hand experience of everything you can.

So I'm quite obviously not the only person on this thread that didn't like the attraction. Why is it that you seem to be singling me out? The OP asks for opinions, I gave mine. I hated the ride. End of discussion. Please leave me alone.
I'm only singling you out because you are quoting me, or to put it another way, singling me out. What I am saying about my feelings are directed at all those in your camp not just you, but, you are the one that is quoting me. If you want me to leave you alone stop giving me a reason. You don't have to agree with me and I don't have to agree with you, but since this is a discussion board, I'm not sure what is wrong with explaining a different side of the story. I don't even know who you are, much less am I trying to focus on you in particular. Sorry, that you feel that way. As far as I am concerned it is done with this post.

You actually quoted me first which is what started this whole thing. I am also done. We can agree to disagree on this.

I am totally lol'ing at your question because we just mad the mistake of doing this attraction for the second (and last) time! We were heading over to our FP at Space Mtn and we had a couple minutes to kill, when DS 14 says "let's try Stitch again." We had gone on 10 years ago when he was 4 and that was enough for me. But neither he nor DD12 remembered it all that well, and I have to say, I didn't really either so we said, what the heck?! Anyway, it WAS really THAT BAD. HaHa! DD hated it, she thought it was scary, and DS and I were just shaking our heads. It was pretty terrible. And I don't think we will soon be forgetting just how terrible it was, even 10 years from now if they try to drag me on it again!

We've never been picked, and my kids are dying for DH to be "that guy". You must just seem fun!
One time they picked me and skipped 2 seats and then picked that person skipping my daughter. She was so relieved. They made me tell them my favorite food. Then answer a joke.

I hate the Stitch ride. I've done it once and never again, and I won't let my 7 and 8 year old go on it. One of my kids especially would have a panic attack and there's no getting out of it once you're in. The metal part that comes over you is very heavy-duty and to me feels very confining. Then the lights go out for part of it . . . and they stay out . . . still out . . . pitch black for longer than you'd think. It freaked me out.

LOL--yep!

We rode it the first time last year. We've been trying to get in attractions we have skipped before. Most have been good. Not Stitch. It is a bit of chaos then it ends. The end is quite anti-climactic. The best part if getting the shoulder bars off--they can really hurt. Terrible ride. Terrible waste of time and space.
