I thought Pete mentioned it during the 10th anniversary show that Steve was coming back ... but I might be mixing things up

I definitely didn't hear that. Did anyone else hear him say that? I don't want to go listen to the whole show again but if he did say it, can you give a time stamp for when it was?

No, he's coming back to work on the show. But yes, he is definitely a gifted and prolific writer. He said before he left (and didn't think he would be coming back) that we would continue to see him around the boards, and with his writing, although he wasn't sure how much time he'd have.

Pete definitely eluded to it in the show where he mentioned Steve had just gotten engaged. Looking forward to having him back.

Steve was definitely the one I didn't think I would miss that much, but was rather bummed after he left. He was and is a fantastic addition to the team. Very talented.

I don't think Oliver replaced Steve. Steve never really did any of the producer work like Oliver does now.

Actually, Pete mentioned that he wanted to add another role before Steve resigned so they would have recruited Oliver regardless of Steve leaving.
I'm assuming this now saves Pete from having to hire someone else
