Is Steakhouse 71 closed from 2-5pm?

The WDW website shows that lunch ends at 2pm and dinner begins at 5pm. We were hoping to make an ADR and eat there at 3pm before going to MNSSHP, but I've never noticed the gap between lunch and dinner times at table service restaurants because we typically don't dine mid-afternoon. Thanks for any info!

These are the hours. Outside of these hours you can't book an ADR. Restaurants will have a gap if they change the menu between the two meals, which they do.

Breakfast – 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Lunch – 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Dinner – 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Thanks. That's what I thought after seeing the posted hours on the website. Well at least I know not to bother with trying to get that ADR. I guess we will just do quick service at our hotel.

Have you ordered food at the bar between 2-5pm? This was back in October right after opening and they were still working the kinks out, but at the time they had limited food service hours at the bar. You can’t order via Steakhouse 71’s “To Go” option between 2-5pm so I’m a little surprised they’d keep a kitchen staff available just for bar food orders… but of course could be different now compared to our October experience.

I was there a couple weeks ago - I checked the timestamp on my pictures, and it looks like I ordered at around 4:45 and my food arrived right around 5. I think there were other people with food when I got there. So not much before 5, but a little bit.

Also, when I was researching before my trip, I noticed that many of the lounge menus will specify that the food is available after a certain time, and Steakhouse 71 doesn't. For what that's worth.
