Is standard view at AKV worth booking?

I think the savanna view is a huge part of AKV's charm. The value standard view room is okay because it is SO cheap - but I'd rather stay at SSR than have a standard view @ AKV for the points.

Because the standard view at Jambo cannot be parking lot view, I think it would be worth booking. We haven't done it, have booked value studio and have a value 1 bedroom booked in June. Both of these value stays are weekend stays, and for the points, I think they are worth it. I love the atmosphere at AKL/V, and we even go there just to walk around and admire the animals when we're staying elsewhere.

We had a standard view in March and were very happy with it. We also had a CL pool view, which is basically the same as standard view at Jambo, and were happy with that as well. Once Kidani village opens, standard view rooms will mean non-savanna view and COULD be parking lot or entrance road. At Jambo House, standard view rooms are ONLY pool view. Value rooms at Jambo (wont be available at Kidani) will have either savanna or parking lot or a few pool. The difference in value rooms is their size. They are significantly smaller than the other rooms.
