I'm trying to make our dinner reservations for our honeymoon. We were wanting to see the Spirit of Aloha dinner show since we are staying at the Poly. Has anyone been to this show that can tell me if it's worth the price?

I can't tell you because our show was cancelled due to weather conditions in January. I'm not sure when you will be going, but it seems like it gets cancelled frequently in the colder months.

I think this is a great choice for a honeymoon dinner! We enjoyed it very much when we went (we were a family group of 10). As I recall they have honeymooners stand up -- and they play the Hawaiian Wedding Song. The food is tasty and plentiful and the show is very enjoyable. My only advice -- book early so you'll have good seats.

We have seen the show 3 times and always enjoyed the food & show. I think it would be a great show for your honeymoon since your staying at the Poly. Congradulations. :)

We enjoyed it a lot, the food is not great, but enjoyed the fire dance a great deal.

The luau at the Polynesian is in a lovely setting with a view of the lagoon. The show is very good, with excellent dancers. I'd rate the food as so-so, but it isn't bad. It's definitely worth doing once.

We went last year during our honeymoon... We didn't think it was worth the credits (or money - if you're paying for it). It was a nice experience...but not what we expected. We thought the show was a bit lame...sorry!
