So, I went to change my flights on Southwest, and I got a warning message that said, if you change your flight, the flight then becomes non-refundable? Is that new? Am I still able to change dates afterwards?

No, the Wanna Get Away fare - that never was refundable was it? I can change it as many times as I need, correct? Just as travel funds, not money back. That was confusing to me when that popped up...

Thanks for the help!

The real change here is if you had a refundable fare and you make a CHANGE to that reservation it becomes non-refundable. It has no affect on Wanna Get Away fares. It does affect business select and anytime fares and strangely enough also affects the Fee portion of a points booking (i.e. the $5.60 charge). So basically if you have one of these type of tickets you want to cancel and rebook, not change.

I noticed the same notice on my fare for our trip in June. I've never had one say that in the past (most recently our trip Wednesday), I booked a Wanna Get Away fare, and always do. So I'm not sure why they have started including this warning when you try to change a Wanna Get Away Fare but they do
