Is Soarin' safe?

I never heard about them messing with Soarin. Since that is one of DCA's most popular rides, they would be crazy to dump it!

That's what I was hoping! DH said "ok but what does that have to do with pixar" which I think is good proof that they may be over pixaring the park..

Anyway, I hope it stays :(

From what I have read. Soaring will be staying at the park. In 2013, It will have a diffrent scheme called "Soaring Over The World".

Well, its changing to Sorin over the World in 2013. DCA is staying DCA, but it sure does seems like there doing there best to eliminate the California in Disneys California Adventure........Mull. Madness, Orange Stinger, Soarin, Maliboomer.....whats next, changing GRR to MIckeys Wild River Run? Its getting ridiculus, people dont want to go to a park that all the rides are being taken out, theres not that much to begin with.

If they change the movie, I don't mind that. It would be neat if they had several different movies that they played and you never knew which one you would get.

I also don't mind getting rid of the slow loading midway rides if they replace them with better rides.

I hope they keep the GG Bridge. I like that. Maybe because it is something familar. I hope they don't go overboard in getting rid of everything California.

The "California" theme is a bomb, they are definately taking it out. Thats kinda the point of the remodel.

I'm not sure you can over pixar a park. Its this generations disney cartoons. There have been a bunch of movies, all hugely popular, I love a lot of them. Its like saying Disneyland is over disney'd. Pixar is Disney. If they want to put a bunch of stuff in, they should go for it.

Well the California theme isn't going to be taken out completely. Like the remodel of the entire enterance. It's going to be California during the 1920's when Walt first arrived. Plus, Hollywood Pictures Backlot has to be based from somewhere.

I agree that pixar is a main part of disney. I LOVE the pixar movies. However, if they're leaving the hollywood backlot (which is cool) and possibly soarin..and leaving screamin and POSSIBLY the ferris wheel..it seems that it's BAM PIXAR...oh and these other rides. These four. Ya those.

kwim?

They need to either find a happy medium or change it to flat out pixarland :P

Cool, that sounds really neat.

As for changing it to all pixar land, why do they have to? There's a little mermaid ride going in near the GRR, just beyond it. Thats not pixar. Disney has a mix of things in their parks, it what makes them so fun. Look at Epcot, or Animal Kingdom. The pixar stuff is just a different theme. It wouldn't make too much sense to make rides based on things children day may or may not see. Im really excited for all the changes, I thought I wouldnt get back before they were done, but Im going this summer and will say goodbye to DCA as Ive known it, I was there opening week, the actual opening week prior to the grand opening. I liked the park then and still do, but not everyone does, so away it goes. I won't be too sad, I trust disney to do a great job :).

Well again, we do love pixar. I just liked DCA :)

wah wah nostalgia I know ;)

Anyway, I'm glad to get to go one more year. We wouldn't have if we hadn't gotten a surprise trip so I'm thankful :) I"ll take DS and DD's pics in the same spot we took ours on our honeymoon and let DCA die in peace LOL

I can't hide my enthusiasm for Carsland tho. WE LOVE CARS
