Is smoking allowed on DCL?

I agree that most smokers are considerate. Most smokers observe smoking restrictions and only smoke where smoking is allowed.

Yes, smoking is allowed in designated sections of the Route 66 and Beat Street clubs on the Wonder and Magic (and the smoke doesn't stay only in those areas). I blame DCL, not the smokers, for the air in those rooms. Smokers don't "walk away" from Rockin' Bar D. They smoke there because it's allowed. Unfortunately, that means many other guests can't enjoy the events in Rockin' Bar D -- even though these events are part of what they paid for.

There should be no smoking at any time in Rockin' Bar D and Wavebands. Any adult passenger who wants to should be able to enjoy the shows and dancing in these clubs. Of course, this means smokers are welcome too. But smokers should not be welcome to smoke in these venues. Again, this is criticism of DCL, not a criticism of smokers.

I have to agree with you on this one. Although most smokers are considerate of others...others are not. Just walking through Beat Street in at night...you can smell all the smoke. As for the smoking on the open decks...I can't say enough on how opposed I am to this. My daughter has a respiratory disease...and smoke from others is SOOOO bad for her health...of all the places I would have thought we'd be safe taking her...on a Disney cruise....Well hmmm.. I'm just thankful for all those smokers who are considerate of others and will light up away from a crowd...especialy kids. I wish disney would arange some other way for all the smokers to enjoy their habit...I liked the idea some one had about specfic smoking areas...like on one side of the ship...Maybe ban smoking except for that secret aft deck on 7.
