Is Skyliner a viable option for rope drop at DHS and Epcot?

Hi all - we are staying at AoA in a couple of weeks. I've heard conflicting stories on whether to use Skyliner to get to the parks "prior" to park opening (as the parks appear to be opening up early pretty consistently). Is Skyliner a viable option to make rope drop (or "earlier") for AoA/POP guests? If not, are buses still an early option for these resorts? I've heard they're still offering them for DHS and Epcot, but on a "limited" service. Just want to make sure we're prepared ahead of time!

When we were at CBR; it was for dhs from aoa/pop. They took the first 10 groups from pop/aoa and lined them up next to the first 7 groups from cbr and alternated loading to dhs from both lines.

For Epcot; I'd say you'd still be good to get there before park open, but not one of the first. We we 6th group in line from Riviera station and we loaded well before we saw anyone coming in from cbr and ud have to transfer there.

You can definitely rope drop via skyliner, but you do need to be in line early (as in about 90 minutes or more before official park open).

Many thanks for the great advice. When did Skyliner open while you were there, and how does that coincide with park open? Right now DHS is listed as opening at 10am... but I have a feeling they are going to extend the hours (we'll find out tomorrow morning).

To DHS that started loading 1 hr and 15-20 mins before park open (740 for 9am open.) - This was from CBR - Pop aoa ppl were already there so I'm guessing they loaded closer to 730.

From Riviera they started loading arounf 950 for 11am open. Not sure when the cbr hub started loading though...def. wasn't before that.

We arrive at the skyliner at 715 for a 9 am DHS open time. We arrived at DHS around 755 and had to wait for temperature screenings to start at 815. We had ridden Tower of Terror and Rock n Roll Coaster before 9.

was the skyliner already running when you got there at 715? I am wondering what time it starts?

I would say no. Even if you are in line at AoA and first in line, by the time you get to Caribbean Beach, there most likely will be a long line to HS or EPCOT. You might get there befroe RD, but I wouldn't count on it.

This would work if staying at CB, but the OP is staying at AoA so they will have that line plus the line at CB, when they get there.
