Is Shedd aquarium worth the cost?

My kids love the aquarium. This is also not a full day for us so you can do something else too. I know it sounds silly, but for us it was $10 more for a 1 year pass than general admission. The CityPass is also a great option. Just so you know the wait to buy tickets is usually REALLY long when members can walk right up. I have heard some people wait over 2 hrs. You may want to buy on-line or check where you need to go in with a City Pass. Also ask when you get there...nothing is worse than waiting in a line you do not need to. FYI--if you are driving bring quarters. Street parking is meters with quarters only, there are 2 lots but parking is $16
