Is second week of September good crowd-wise?

I know that it will be hot. I wanted to go later in September, but I don't think we can. How will the crowds be at that time?

Historically, that is one of the best times to go crowd wise. BTW, it's still hot the end of Sept. We did that several years ago to make it to the MNSSHP. If you can go in Sept. I highly recommend it. At times, the Fastpass stations won't even be in operation. :thumbsup2

It is normally a GREAT TIME to go!! HOWEVER if free dining comes out again all bets are off! it was too busy last year for us to ever take advantage of free dining! we'd rather pay and go during a quiet time! Have fun!!

We were there in Sept. last year, it's our favorite time of year to go. Yes, it is still very hot and humid, but the place is dead to me. That was during free dining too, so I say go for it! We love Sept. and Oct. the best!

My family was at Disney last year during the second week of September during free dining and it was PERFECT! I thought crowds were very low..they were larger on the weekend, but that makes sense. We waited no more than 15 minutes for any ride at any park except for Soarin' and then we used FAST PASS. The only slight negative was the heat...it was very hot so be prepared!

We had such an amazing time last year that we're going again this year the second week of September! :cheer2:

You'll have a great time!

All the best,

We were there last year during that time and it was DEAD:confused3 . Longest we ever waited was 10 minutes. Even Splash was only 5 minute wait, during early afternoon. We're going back again this year at the same time.

Maybe we just happened to hit everything at the right time....

We went the second week of September this past year and it was the best vacation we've ever taken. No crowds, no waits, amazing. Yes, it was during free dining but that never impacted the rides. While it was hot, since you were never standing out in the sun on a line, it never seemed that bad. We got through so much so quickly, that we were able to take advantage of some things we'd never done before (like renting a water craft).

If our school would only delay opening every year, we'd be there every year at that time. If you can go, then do it.

Hi! I am so glad to hear that Sept. isn't too bad. I had read that historically it is low. As a kid we typically went between Thanksgiving, Christmas or Spring Break, so it will be interesting to see what a down time is like! Our school district runs on cycles. so we targeted 'fall cycle break' to make the first family sojourn. Booking today for WL 9/21-9/27!:)

Enjoy! Bring 2 bathing suits as you will enjoy the pool. We had a great time then.

I am going from like Sept 29-Oct 5. Is that also a typically dead time. The past two times I have gone were in mid June, including last year with a 18 month old. I'm thinking (hoping), that Late Sept, Early Oct, with an almost 3 yr old will be heaven in comparison.

I have found that late September is a good time to go if you don't want to wait in lines.
